A downloadable game for Windows

NOTE: This game is under development and still a WIP!

Welcome to G-NOME, the place where you genetically modify gnomes (customize abilities) to fight off in GNOMEMAN's LAND to determine which gnome stands above the rest with the best genetic makeup G-NOME. Utilize special skills, movement, and pure shooting ability in this fast-paced, quake-inspired shooter to prove that you are the KING OF THE GNOMES.

Gameplay Video:

Gameplay Description:

  • G-NOME is inspired by classic FPS shooters like Quake or Unreal Tournament. In G-NOME, players shoot a magical fireball that one-shots other gnomes on the battlefield.
  • Players play until one player hits 20 eliminations, declaring them as the best gnome around!
  • In addition to shooting, players have access to various abilities they can use while playing. With 10 current abilities, players are able to choose 3 from any of the 3 different categories: Movement, Offense, and Utility to create their own unique loadouts to take into battle!
  • Ability Descriptions:
    • Gnomish Dash - A quick charge in the direction you are looking at.
    • Gnomish Leap - Allows you to jump a second time while mid-air.
    • Teleport - Instantly teleport in the direction the player is looking.
    • Multi-shot - The Gnome shoots 2 extra projectiles alongside the main projectile.
    • Sprinkler Mine - Place a sprinkler trap that explodes enemies who step on it.
    • Gnomeverload - Decreases reload time by half for a few seconds.
    • De-FENCE-ive Wall - Construct a white picket fence for cover.
    • Lawn Locator - Deploy a mower that travels toward the nearest enemy.
    • Gnomish Barrier - Generate a shield around yourself, blocking all damage for a short time.
    • Invisibility - Turn invisible for a short duration.

Controls:

  • WASD - Movement
  • Shift - Slide (Need to be moving)
  • Jump - Space Bar

Ability controls are based on the order you put them in the slots

  • Slot 1 - Q
  • Slot 2 - E
  • Slot 3 - R
  • Note: Some abilities (such as Gnomish Leap) are passive abilities, and their activation can be found at the bottom right to see what keybind controls it. For instance, Gnomish Leap is a double jump that is activated by pressing jump twice.
